The way of love is not
a subtle argument.
The door there
is devastation.
Birds make great sky circles
of their freedom.
How do they learn it?
They fall, and falling,
they’re given wings.

Beautiful work, Helene, this is deep and mysterious. I love the Rumi poem paired with your work “…and falling, they’re given wings”.

Helene! :-) As always, magnificent. I imagine that if I had time I would stare at the center til lost. These are so glowing and energetic. I am transported to the wonder of my youthful eye perusing a kaleidascope pointed at the sun. My spirit loves them. Once again: Beautiful times the power of Zen! :-)
