Horses 4
Horses
Tori Amos
I got me some horses
To ride on, to ride on
They say that your demons can’t go there
So I got me some horses
To ride on, to ride on
As long as your army keeps perfectly still
And maybe I’ll find me a sailor
A tailor
And maybe together we’ll make mother well
So I got me some horses
To ride on, to ride on
As long as your army
Keeps perfectly still
You showed me the meadow
And Milkwood and Silkwood
And you would if I would
But you never would
So I chased down your posies
Your pansies in my hosies
Then opened my hands and they were empty then
Off with Superfly
Sniffing a Sharpie pen
Honey it’s Bill and Ben
Off with Superfly
Counting your bees
Oh me honey like
One two three
The camera is rolling
It’s easy like one, two, three
And if there is a way to find you
I will find you
But will you find me if Neil makes me a tree
An afro, a pharaoh
I can’t go, you said so
And threads that are golden don’t break easily
I got me some horses
To ride on, to ride on
They say that your demons can’t go there
So I got me some horses
To ride on, to ride on
As long as your army keeps perfectly still

Helene, this is lovely. I think Craig might be thinking of a woodblock print. It does look like one to me too.

LOL Helene …. even though Michelle and Whirli were so kind to help me out here … I am still not sure ;)
Michelle .. .I think that is like burning wood? If so … nah :P
Whirli … That is very close to what I mean …. Ummmm, I just thought it had a name that started Lino something, because people used to use Lino as well? LMAO WOODCUTTING!!! Is that it? LMAO
Helene Kippert
Ah – you mean a linocut print! Now that you mention it, it reminds me of one too. ;o)

This is so beautiful, out of the three I’ve seen, this one is my favorite….and to me it reminds me of when I was younger and would cover paper with many colors of crayons, really thick..Then cover all of it with black and scratch the black off to reveal the colors underneath to make a picture (only this is much more beautiful than anything I ever created!! :)
Helene Kippert
I remember doing that too! Thanks Rain. :o)
