Aha – before I saw your interpretation as the Artist I thought to myself that is a very tight squeeze. soft on the outside and yet unyeilding and in a grip like a vice. That is the hold the media has on an impressionable society. Sad ain’t it.

Great, concept-driven art !

I could definitely see that aspect – commentary on society and etc. It also, however, makes me think of other things. Like how when you are so stressed out you could cheerfully collapse or kick someone, people expect you to act as if everything is fine; or how you are supposed to pretend losing someone you loved is just one of those things that happens and “keep it in perspective” as if people with real emotions who really love someone have the same perspective as people who were just having fun .. and, also, the wonderful world of PMS!
