This morning I’ve been looking through my long forgotten work which I intended to finish-I found this one-that I think I’ve taken as far as it will go. It is saying to me: “I’m finished!” So I’m posting it.
I must have created it last summer (southern hemisphere) around Christmas time by the look of the Hydrangeas in the vase and the scattered Agapanthas that I picked from the garden. The tablecloth is a lovely linen one that I bought from an Op Shop and the jug was bought many years ago at a jumble sale when I started acquiring objects for still life paintings. The northern light streams through the lounge room window and I often set up my work here. Oh for the memories…
