Art needs to sit proudly on your wall, and when can’t bash huge nails in you need to consider the mounted print. Super tough, super light, incredibly professional.
Art comes in many shapes and sizes, and our mounted prints are built to fit each of them. The final dimensions will depend on the image you choose, but to give you an idea here are the most common photographic sizes:
Halo. Taken with a 20 mm lens on 35 mm Kodachrome
gangotri, garhwal, halo, himalaya, kodachrome, shivling
Great photo, really well done!
Beautiful work Helen !
what an incredible capture – amazing work!
Graet capture. Really amazing.
Excellent. Not just a Halo but an ‘Oval Circumscribed Halo’ and ‘22º Halo’.Photos of solar OCH are rather uncommon, lunar OCH photos more so.
Les Cowley – _’The circumscribed halo is typically a brightly coloured oval around the sun. It is tangential to the inner 22º halo directly above and below the sun and it is brightest there. Sometimes local brightenings of the 22º halo are the only sign of it. Its shape depends very much on the solar altitude’
Thanks for the comment, and for the information. I was just an amazed onlooker who was very grateful that I had bothered to bring the 20 mm lens along. Photo taken at about 18,500 ft in the Garhwal Himalaya, just above our base camp at Tapovan ‘meadow’.
Wow. Thanks to you all for your comments.
stunning photo… really beautiful as well as a great halo
