Helen Miles

I am an Australian artist living near the Great Dividing Range in Kilmore, and have been creative in one form or another since childhood. Pastel, watercolour and acrylic are the mediums I use most but ocassionally I wander off the track and use all sorts of different materials (very therapeutic!). The wonder of colour, both intense and delicate has always stimulated my senses and charged my creative urges and my subject matter is wide and varied.

I am a member of three art societies and various art & cultural committees and have taught both professionally and privately. My paintings hang all over the world and hopefully are still enjoyed by the viewer. Entering art shows and holding solo and group exhibitions keeps me on the hop, and I have won a number of awards over the twenty five years I’ve been painting.
