Canterbury Cathedral is almost impossible to photograph as it is right in the middle of the town surrounded by shops. This is one glimpse of it taken as a three-shot HDR which has given the photo an almost etching like quality. Surprisingly the modern shops signs don’t seem out of place.

Moved to the Isle of Lewis in the The Outer Hebrides off the north-west coast of Scotland in July 2010 with the aim of getting out and about with my camera. Hasn’t quite worked out that way as we’ve spent the past 18 months refurbishing our house but the opportunities will come.

Meanwhile I’ll be going through my collection to pick out some of those that have pleased me over the years.
