Staithes, North Yorkshire, England
A century ago Staithes was the biggest fishing port on the east coast of England with over 100 commercial boats. Today only one remains which can be seen just beyond the bridge.
Being nestled in a valley on the east coast of England it is quite difficult to get ‘golden hour’ shots of Staithes as the sun quickly disappears to leave the village in shadow. On this day I was blessed with some excellent light that later turned into a glorious sunset.
