St. Clements Church at Rodel in South Harris is the oldest church in the Outer Hebrides to remain substantially as it was built. Dating from the 15th century it is believed to have been built for the Chiefs of the Macleods of Harris who are more well known for their seat at Dunvegan on Skye.
