Do not judge me
A poem written by me about some of the experiences from my life
Do not judge me for not knowing
Do not judge me for not understanding
Do not judge me for not being strong
But love me for who I am.
For I am unique, there is only one of me
I am your sunshine in your life on a rainy day
I am the courage you need during a frightening time
and I am your friend who is loyal through-out
But most of all
Love me for being me.
Know me, understand me,trust me
and please except me for being me.
I am the one who is still learning
I am the one who’s still trying
And I am the one who’s strength is yet to blossom.
So dear friend, believe in me
and trust that I will become the best that I can become,
through the lessons that I choose to have.
