    I don’t understand how people can get such amazingly lose shots of insects like this???

    Is it the lens or just talent :D

    I have a macro lens and can’t get anywhere near as close to things…maybe im not using it right??

    It Def Not The Lens, I don’t Use a Lens, I use a Point and Shoot camera, That Has a Macro setting Bulit into The camera, and I Put The camera into my subjects face, I Move Very Slowely So They Don’t Fly.

    A lovely shot, so very up close & personal.
    And you are quite right, move slowly after they have settled try not to frighten them, stick the camera under their noses, click & move away.

    When I look at you sight I always remember how wonderful these shots are, but not that I had already commented…...like the last one. How close do you have to get with your macro lens….I always use a telephoto. Not quite as good. This guy is so funny with all his fur.

    Canon PowerShot is great camera , my old S3 model had super micros lenses, but a newest model Canon Power Shot SX10 is not the same, as far as micro concern
