Exquisite work.. Congratulations on your wins and awards re your portfolio info. I have entered the Sydney Royal Easter Show Photography comp. again this year, did well last year, so here’s hoping. Try a site called Igpoty.com and look at their plant/flower comp. and results for 2011. A Redbubbler Mandy Disher has made the finals, thought you might be interested. Dianne
Thank you Dianne for your lovely comment.Thank you also for the info.Great job at your entries into the Sydney Show.I had 4 entries accepted into Perth Royal Show last year. Will go again this year. That was my first time for the show.I have that many orchid and flower photos all hidden in harddrives.I will also check that site out as well,Cheers Heather.PS Thank you for viewing my work.
Fabulous shot, as you say delicate specimen. Lovely DOF makes the plant really “pop” out at you. Would love to grow orchids, but i have never had any success. But i did just get one for mothers day .. so my contribution to these will be to try and capture their beauty on the camera :)
Thank you so much Cath.I love orchids. This one is an Australian native so would be quite hard to grow in your own backyard.Lovely to have been given an orchid on Mothers Day.From June to Oct I love wandering around the various Parks and bushland to capture that something a little equisite. So peaceful!!
