Heather Rose is a conceptual portrait artist from New England, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from Montserrat College of Art. Specializing in dark and surreal figurative work, she creates bizarre worlds with a touch of sensuality. She works mostly in either acrylic or ink and graphite, but dabbles in everything from silkscreen printing to studio photography.
Heather’s paintings have appeared in galleries and private collections throughout the world. Her work has been published in several magazines, such as Catapult, The Pulse, and Meat for Tea; and was featured on a billboard in Times Square in 2012.
Heather Rose is a founding member of the Bad Apple Artist Collective. When not making art, she can usually be found hiding behind a camera or watching hockey.
