Artist's Description

FEATURED in The World As We See It (2010)
2010…..Canon Rebel XTI
This is my late father’s watch*
He was born around 1908, and has passed on.
He had given me this watch when he was dying in the hospital of brain cancer.
I wear it often.
I wore it today (2010) and thought …I have learned a lot from my father:

FISHING
to catch worms
to put the worm on the hook to fish
to remove the fish from the hook
to scale, clean and cook the fish
to enjoy eating the fish!

GARDENING
to prepare the soil
to plant the seeds
to prune the tomato plants to have a better harvest
to weed and fertilize
to hoe the rows
to pick, prepare and eat the fruits of my labour

COOKING
to take time to prepare
to take pleasure in the cooking process
to heartily enjoy the results!

MISC:
to always be sure to have a magazine in the bathroom (otherwise known as the Throne Room!)
to have a close relationship with nature
Animals…love them!

LIFE
“Anything worth doing is worth doing well, or don’t do it at all”
_ -Joseph Simon Friedman_

Dedicated to my Father
Thank you, Daddy.
Rest In Peace.
