Thank you Paul for your welcoming comment. This is one of the first shots I took at night with a digital and I almost squealed with delight…and woken a 3rd of Kyoto from sleep. There’s something exciting about being in a different country alone and testing out new equipment on the go.

I agree with Paul, it is a brilliant picture, one that anyone would be proud of. You have captured the culture of a foreign land well, and are they umbrellas at the bottom of the ally? And an aircon on the roof? I love the Bamboo fencing in the forground! Really blends old and new. Well done
