Daughter of Chaos

A poem inspired by burningark’s picture Daughter of Chaos

to me it is based on the old religions worship the divine feminine, this is what I think will happen if a) there really is a divine feminine and b) if she returned, I don’t think she would be too happy… do you? lmao

Daughter of Chaos
Mother of the darkest beauty
In all the twilight that is the mortal dream
You draw such pretty pictures
In the bloody of the divine we deem

Daughter of Chaos
Mother of the 4 strong winds
In this endless circle of human life
You point into the direction
That leads us from pity and strife

Daughter of Chaos
Mother of the dying sun
In this world were blood is spilt in false name
You are the mistress of dread
That serves the revenge that corpses cannot claim

Daughter of Chaos
Mother of the rising moon
In this world of predatory darkness
You are the shadow
To embrace us with safety from the heartless

Burning portraits adorn our dreams
We are told of your coming in these scenes,
Return to us with so many names.

Put all the treasons to fire
And settle this world in the fertile ash
Remove all hate and ire
Rebirth this world so we can sing with thunder clash.

Break the chains that hold us to this cold world.

I agree. That is one memorable piece of writing. No, I don’t think she would be happy. No wonder she left. Very good and thought provoking. Smiles from Jane.

What do you think she wouldn’t be happy about? I have my thoughts, I think she would be sickened by the state of the world. I dare not think how she would sort it out. It is a very good poem, I remember the good old days when I used to write such things.

    Keep smiling my dear :)
