By now you would’ve guessed my love of horses! This was a commission of a true gentleman, a Warmblood. He was only a small one apparently for a warmblood, about 16hh! The people who commissioned this had others and they were bigger. Colour pencil and white gouache on grey mount board. Size – 45cm x 60cm.
Has been featured in ‘Equine Art and Photography’ group.
This is beautiful! What a talent you have … your customers must have been delighted with your work. The shine and light on the shoulder are truly stunning.
Usually the customers cry…..I hope that’s good! Seriously tho, people usually get a portrait done of their pet coz it’s so special to them…..or was :( They see my work, but when presented with a portrait of their own beauty, they are usually quite stunned. I still get nervous before every ‘presentation’
