Early work.
Ok, so I felt I had to show this. What my work looked like when I first got my pencils. I went and got my sketch book and scanned this page. (I have kept nearly all of my school work) The book is dated ‘77’ Form 3E (year 9) I had a set of 72 Derwent Artist pencils given to me by Mum and Dad. The book and the pencils came with me when I went baby sitting. We had NO computer, NO video, 1 TV (All the time consuming technology of today) I drew. And drew, and drew…..........and I am still drawing. 31 years ago I did these pictures. 31 years of practice, experimenting, learning.
I am still learning.
Mushy moment…...hugs :)

The 31 years paid off real well! And a nice idea to put those older pictures up here…..I don’t know if I have any left?

Year Nine … age nine … Hilary just knocked five years from your age, so you’d better thank her .. haha.

No, I meant you were really good and you were only nine, no wonder you are so good now. Winston Churchill was right. ‘Two Great Nations divided by a common language’

just goes to show you practice and patience does eventually pay off , it’s always nice to look back on the journey you decided to take.
