I have a lovely black – brown Standardbred mare. Her name is Stirling Moon, but we call her Spot (Spotless) This painting is modeled after her, with a few changes so I was not compelled to keep the painting!

Thanx so much everyone. Standardbreds tend to have big heads. They are also a very ‘sane’ sensible horse. Mine is more the old type and is more petite than the ones bred today.
