The trees at the studio in spring time are in full blossom with the promise of fruit. This one is plum.
Done in Colour pencil and white gouache on grey colourfix pastel paper. Size – 34cm x 46cm. 2007
Won Highly Commended at the San Remo / Newhaven Art Show 2009. Sold at exhibition 2009.

    I don’t keep a record of hours spent on non-commissioned pictures. Maybe I should. But I guess about 35 – 40 hours. There abouts :)

    What a fantastic piece of art work. I was intreged with you using gouache on colour fix paper. Never tried it. The paper must have chewed your colour pencils up. I know what it does to soft pastels. No wonder if won and sold as it the plum flowers are outstanding…......Sandy
