Great shot of what is a very familiar sight in these parts… the Niagara power projects are the beginning of the line for these massive high-tension towers that march across New York State like colossi from another world. My sister was slightly afraid of them when she was a kid…. Same the world over, I guess.
These ones originate in a hudge powerplant close to the iraqi border and march across the desert around Kuwait bay to reach Kuwait City. I guess kids of nowadays aren’t more afraid of them as they are of Dark Vador… ;-) Thank you Sheila !
OK put my x on the spot, now what do I win ? ;) Wonderful scale Helene
Can’t you recognize an authentic treasure when you spot one ? This one can carry loads of beer, and very low fuel consuming… (we have also the “mountaineer” model with two tanks and extra fur for severe winters) ;-)
