This is a very nice image Helene, There is another image here if you crop the left half off and then crop a bit from the top and bottom. I’d up the saturation on the yellow figures.
Thank you Peter ! (the yellow has already been saturated; it was really a dull misty morning…)
They were clever people working out how to catch fish with those fence things. You tell the story very well as is. It is impressive seen large.
Such fish traps can be recognized on prehistoric rock art pictures in some places in the Middle East, this history is not new, but now only a few indian employees fishermen still maintain the tradition while more and more of the shore is turned into private baches and marinas, leaving less space for the traditional fishing activities and more to massive importation of frozen fish from elsewhere…
I never seen anything like this… fantastic abstract life scene!
They use such things all around Arabia and I think also in the Pacific islands, the least energy consumming way to fish, but only for small scale local cosumption… Thank you Bluesrose !

You really do need to look at this large to get the full impact and detail.. almost like some surrealist painting in many ways
Thank you Richard for that comment. The mist had made me doubt the picture would come out but it actually gave a kind of “brush” feel to this…
