It will take more than an hour to sweep the floor, but then that is what archaeological digs are for.

  • Actually I am surprised there is not more lungs problems in the archaeologists community… ;-) Thanks FailngMemory !

no wonder these places are so dusty, you lot never heard of wet wipes and using a bin? Reminds me of the old joke, guy watching a guy digging a second hole 5ft away from one he has just dug.. “what is that one for?” asked the man..“to put the soil from that one in stupid” came the reply. Love the sense of a dance in this

  • Water attracts scorpions and poisonous centipedes, don’t you remember your natural history courses in school ? ;-) And indeed it’s a classical famous phenomena that every year archaeologists have to move the rubble heap they have made the year before because they have found walls that are heading underneath… Thanks Richard !

LOL if you ever get to watch episodes of Timeteam you will find they confirm the spoil heap theory each time lol

  • Haven’t seen that on tv, just rushed to wikipedia. Three days missions ? Then they have no time to take pictures for sure, nor to carry their spoil more than 1 m away from the dig, no surprise then !!! ;-)

well having several photographers and a film crew on site, plus large diggers with big buckets helps move things along in three days lol
