Helene … thank you for sharing your beautiful works here … the things you see, and your skill at showing a very special view … very very inspiring indeed!
One small thing I have learned from you tonight … is to be bolder, to be more daring, to follow my instinct when I see something or want a shot of … to go for it and experiment with all I have … to grow what I know and beyond that – the only limitation is in my imagination … not be scared to produce images with personality :)
Thank you.
Hélène David-Cuny replied
Thank you Bettina for your very nice words. You make me feel confused… Photography, as any other form of art, is a very personal thing indeed, otherwise it wouldn’t be worth, everyone would do the same pictures and there would be no purpose for RB! I can see your pictures already show a personality as well ! And our friend Richard from York seems to have a lot of consideration for you, which for me is a high quality guaranty… Anyway forgive me if I do not explore immediately your portfolio, I am just back from Scotland and tomorrow early morning I travel again to some place in France for a few days, where I will probably not have much time for internet, if I have a connection at all… Nice to meet you, thanks again for all your comments and see you soon on RB !

there is something magical and timeless in this shot,
Hélène David-Cuny replied
Thank you Richard. Somehow this hudge *hotel is like your sage in Newcastle, ugly and gorgeous in the vicinity of the beautiful and soulful old city of Damascus. When I am rich I rent a room there and take shots from the top, that’s all I can hope !
