Many of my paintings, still lifes, landscapes, underwater scenes are meant to be eye candy. I sometimes feel that perhaps my style is too broad, but I am not a one trick pony.

Would say very scary but actually not as much as the one in St Kilda (Melbourne). I sort of made my peace with Luna Park in Sydney with an entrance like this but St Kilda? Not so much. :-P This is great by the way :-D

  • LOL- what a wild and scary ride that would have been in St Kilda! thanks so much for the comments, visit and compliments! Cathy

It is the glint in the eye of this ‘carnival entrance’ that seals the deal for me. I’ve seen this same glint in the people that are megalomaniacs, power hungry, the ones that say or have said,“Just say No.” China is a one party system… and they hear ‘NO’ a lot there too. I hope Americans can tell we have a one party system with two doors… and nothing more. Great work Dave. I see sparks!

  • Russell- THANK YOU! I have seen that look before ;) Evil lurks in many places! lol I’ll be sure to pass your comments onto Dave- he will love it! Thank you again my friend- Cathy

Cathy, sorry I forgot to mention that it’s not even a ride… more that the entrance to the parks are a big scary clown mouth… guessing the rides are nothing in comparison :-P

OK these are both from Wikipedia:
    Sydney Luna Park
Melbourne/St Kilda – I found this way more scary but the park was closed so I avoided having to walk through it :-P

I think that the next park they open up should commission this painting :-D

  • Ellis- OMG!!!!! those are both GREAT! Definitely Melborne/St. Kilda is the scariest for me too! They look like fun parks to visit! LOL! I love them- thank you so much for sending those links! this guy would definitely make a GRAND entrance w/those evil eyes! lol! Cathy
