    Steve- thanks! David is indeed a Tolkien fan and your right it does have that feel to it! I had to look up Cappadocia its a real place in Turkey very surreal looking and this is Davids interpretation. He’ll be really happy that you like it!- Cathy J.

    I would like to visit too. The dwellings seem to have risen out of the ground…..they look so earthy. And of course the mountains in the background give the painting much depth. Beaut painting.
