Harley Earl at General Motors Motorama 1956 by

Harley J. Earl (1893 – 1969) was the first Vice President of Design at General Motors. He was an industrial designer and pioneer of modern transportation design. A coachbuilder by trade, Earl was also the pioneer in using freeform sketching and hand sculpted clay models as design techniques. He introduced the “concept car” as both a tool for the design process and a clever marketing device. This image is originally from a Stereographic transparency that I own which I have restored.

Welcome, I have been photographing for than 35 years and restoring old photos to keep them alive.
I have always photographed an image as if I am saving a little bit of history for someone to view in the future.
Due to an injury, I am unable to photograph as much as I used to so I spend my time designing metaphysical images, mandalas and restoring historical prints. Enjoy!
