The Wine Drinker, signature
Another experiment. Bear with me. This is looking a little less French and more Hawaiian I’m thinking. Trying to get a good shirt here.

Like this one the best Barbara…........color, form and perspective are great. Your signature has become part of the Art, well done, like it allot. Pity I don’t drink…..........lol
Barbara Sparhawk replied
Well, gee Adrian, you must know somebody who does….and thanks for liking this, what torture to re-do stuff. This is insanity. I’m saving for a digital camera starting now.

Think this one is the best as well
Barbara Sparhawk replied
Thanks, Alistair. I’m trying.

Oh Barb I am so pleased to hear that…..............your work is superb and should be shown off to its best…...............cannot wait.
Barbara Sparhawk replied
It’s long overdue. All the stuff one has to get into connected to websites. I sat in one place eight hours to figure out how to save the original and translate it into a shirt. I took over fifty photos before I delivered it, and every one need something, or the top or bottom got cropped off. Lord have mercy. Thanks Adrian. I’ll have to re-do everything.

You’re so sweet to say so, I could cry. Thanks Alistair. It’s 4 am. I started this at 8 pm. Thanks for the pat on the back. I’m going to bed.

This is such a lovely portrait, fantastic, wonderful colors
Barbara Sparhawk replied
Thank you, pinkyjain! I’m using a lot of different colors than in the past, so interesting to work with something new.

looks really good Barbara :) if you are aiming for the french look, a tilted beret would look cool…
Barbara Sparhawk replied
Beret is a great idea; I’ll be doing more of these I think. Wouldn’t mind a wall-full. Many many years ago I did a copy of one of Lautrec’s dance-hall guys, big belly, bowler hat, at a table…for a restaurant in Greenwich Village. They hung it outside on chains, it got stolen; I re-did it and they bolted it to the brick wall. But the place eventually closed up.
