Hi Ruth. I know riding is in your heart. Because of you, I uploaded this for a card. It turned out to be complex. I couldn’t get the original t shirt drawing on the “art” section for some reason, it was in a different format, etc etc etc but I’ll keep trying til I get it right. I really am in one of the gems of the universe. I lived on a millionaire’s 500 acre estate for awhile here in the barn’s tack room I converted to a studio. The pasture with 150 horses was right outside my door. I managed weddings & events they rented out the grounds and big house for. Started riding bareback again. Pretty incredible experience.

Thank you for all you’ve said, for enjoying the work I do, Ruth. It’s so encouraging. Doris Day has a hotel in town her son runs, famous for letting dogs in with guests, she’s very dog friendly, helped set the tone for town & Carmel Beach, one of the last places in CA dogs run free and it’s fantastic, all hallelujah. Generally Carmel is too full of itself, a mile square with nothing but galleries and restaurants and a lot of bad art. It is damn picturesque though.The coast is just beyond belief here, so beautiful. I’ve met Clint a couple of times at his ranch/restaurant/bar. He sits in the back drinking long neck Budweisers and watching; talking to friends.Very much a presence. I’m about 16 miles inland from the ocean, still rustic, cowboys, cattle, dogs & horses, regular people, but losing acreage fast to vineyards, super wealthy estates. Thanks again.
