Paul - A Track Guide
Paul like Jim is a Senior Guide for the Bibbulmun Track Foundation.
This was taken at the end of a Corporate Challenge where participants in teams of four compete over four days both on water and land.

What a fantastic image this is…bet he’s a character? As Sally said….he looks very weathered….love the way his bristles show up …and also the frown….he’s seen a few things in his time! Well shot.

wonderful capture! i don’t agree with others when they say always catch the eyes. i am a candid shooter and like this photo is awesome with him looking the way he is. it would have changed the whole mood to have him look into the camera….i love this!

I totally agree with you. I love shooting candid, the result seems more natural and engaging.
Of course there’s a place for eye contact as well but there’s a different mood. I suppose it depands on what your trying to achieve.
