I have always had an affinity with water. As a child, streams, creeks and ponds were the places I played and had my adventures. If none of these were available… puddles would suffice. Swimming, fishing and home made watercraft brought my greatest joys. As I grew older, my choice routes driving would have a view of water, even if only remotely possible, the destination was not as important as the journey. As family vacations became available, only one requirement… at the water. In 1996 I moved to Hatteras Island and have been blessed beyond my wildest dreams. The view from my home allows sunrises over the Atlantic Ocean and sunsets on Pamlico Sound. My beloved water is always just a glance out the window 24/7. You will find that this precious element is included in 99% of the photos I take. I hope you recieve some sense of the tranquility that water gives me through my photography.
