a thought provoking haiku
I am perhaps thinking in too-practical of terms, but breaching is a natural, and often playful activity for a whale… it is breathing! So “stilling the whale from breaching” gives me the images of trying to hold your breath for too long, which is most likely not what you are trying to do when “stilling”...

this is about fining a tunnel outside of the machine; the “natural”, the act of breath itself. there is no breath in space, at least as far as our form of oxegenated breathing is concerened…
getting there requires the shutting down of the machine, if only for a moment, to see outside the window and see the cosmos.
