And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God
He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

  • Kristin Reynolds replied

yes…to bad the chance to actually live this way is so very slim…such a tiny hole, that eye of the needle.

Such power in your carefuly crafted words K, you are a wonderfully intelligent writer xx

  • Kristin Reynolds replied

Thanks, Peter. :) I hope you know how much I appriciate that; so much of my young life (and then much of my adult life) I was made to feel I was worthless and stupid.
but…therein lay the need for the poem…one must bury their dead and be done. xo

I very much like this Kristin – to be able to say so much and capture a metaphor in so few words takes real skill. Really well done – the image is perfect.

  • Kristin Reynolds replied

    Thanks, Lianne. xo

they say there is time, but not an infinite time, to do what we need. after that it may be too late. no time to daydream – your words are chilling reminders, timely reminders, a much needed alarm! x

  • Kristin Reynolds replied

time…how much time is the question…and by whose watch?
you speak true; the time can only be now, there is nothing else…sitting on hands does nothing but stay the hunger and push the clock hands around with shaking fingers.
thank you, J, for always sounding my internal alarm! xo

oh wow your words give me chills Kristin. It has been like this for me for the past few weeks….it’s like these “zombies” have some unfinished business. You can’t bury them unless your thoroughly through with them. Kind of like vampires: the living dead. You have to put some emotions to rest by driving a stake through them until they can finally rest in peace. But first you have to admit their existence and feel them. Well at least that’s how it is for me. Thank you for sharing this K….it sort of wraps things up for me at the moment. Much love to you. And sorry I’ve been missing so much of your work lately…I’ve not been entirely here. xxx

  • Kristin Reynolds replied

yes, that’s the thing about zombies, they always do.
i agree with all you’ve said, E, the force-feeling is damn hard but necissary, as you say..I am sending ether hugs your way, beautiful girl. xo

How often do we have new emotions? ...other than perhaps, just emotions with more, added flesh on the skeleton of primordial ones… one can only exhume old memories that may trigger what appears to be old emotions, only now coated with and fine tuned by the bitter-sweet, time-as-life subsequent thought-feelings.
... hey Kristin, that was dr Ho talking again… see, I indulge in split personality thought threatening experiences. But you my friend, indulge in powerful, soul awakening poetry in small pills, each containing a lifetime of wisdom.
And this, my friend, is what keeps me coming back for more. Thank you.

  • Kristin Reynolds replied

    never.
please….keep indulging your DR. Ho with split personality disorder…you see, I suffer the same affliction, except I am split into so many, I cannot keep up!
I just love it when you grace my pages, so much wisdom, so many mini-pills. :)
    thank you, friend. xo

Time appears to move more slowly when life is joyously lived.
A chilling thought as a shiver, is how time moves very quickly if life is
spent dwelling in hostilities and regret.

  • Kristin Reynolds replied

    yes, so so true.
    thanks, Del. xo
