Elevator of Alcoholism

My dream came true; the seeds took root; the lost rose at last.
This Diminished Hexaverse is dedicated to you.
You know who you are. :)

Elevator of Alcoholism belongs to the following groups:

! Creative Writing & Poetry !, "Poetry and Beautiful Women" , All Out Emotion, All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical, Anger Management, Core [C.O.R.E], Everyday Life, Inspired By Life, Masterpieces: Literary Workshop, The Art of Pain, The beauty of poetry, THE SISTERHOOD, Up & Coming Writers, Vibration in Art and Verse - VAVoom! and WMG

Ground floor, going up!
Fractured frame stumbling
up the tree of life.
Stature low, you crawl,
(there’s only one way)

you say one thing,
and then you say
another thing –
going nowhere…

I pick you
up and throw
seeds to wind,

praying
that you’ll

rise.

There are, trust me. I hope the best stays far from the man, as he, as you may know, has really really blown up into blossoms more brilliant than I ever imagined.

Liked this. Succinct and powerful. The separation of the word “rise” – a nice bit of syntax emphasizing the sense of both loneliness and hope, as well as seeming like a command.

    Thank you, Shaun. :)
