Defined by lips and passion’s voice,
one’s garden grows or rots – your choice

each spoken thought will rise, traverse
and swirl about the universe -

infinite space, meets earthbound mind
forcing thoughts to realize,

their true form = reality
born from prayers spoken by thee.

And yet, if they’re birthed void of thought,
strife will come from what is wrought.

one’s garden grows or rots – your choice… my favorite line in this stunning jewel of a piece. It is our choice, isn’t it? And words once spoken are almost impossible to take back – even apologies don’t erase harsh ones from our minds. A beautifully composed cautionary tale.
