Wow – Kristin this is an almost deadly accurate description of an emotion that eats at so many of us – mostly out of our own insecurity rather than possessiveness. Not being able to love ourselves very well, we are sure our love can’t love us either and that there are others out their much more suited to meet their needs. Then for sure the monster rears its head. I doubt there is anyone who reads this who will not relate to this! Brilliantly written.

i have one of those dresses too. so tight they break your bones. squeeze all the breath out of you. soften your organs. make you blind so you don’t have to watch while the moon eats you. better give that dress to charity – a lunatic will buy it, wear it until she has been sucked dry. better for you to buy leather for new shoes instead. don’t you agree?

This is so well written. Everytime I see that bonehead start to rise up I place a fork in his cheeky little butt and send him home crying to his mother. LOL That is one emotion that will never rule my life. Well done.

What a brilliant analogy of the green eyed creature….especially when we are astutely aware we have him riding us with his whip urging us to go deeper into the swamp…and when we do we find we have lost so much of our reasoning to fine our way back to solid ground (emotions) We are a funny bunch us humans are we not!
