Just looking through my archives and found this little poem about, what else, art! and how it comes…
Art belongs to the following groups:

to see what gems will fly;
released from their oppressive tomb
upon the wind, and none to soon
before the stagnant could exhume
the worth, and glimmer from my mind.
Upon the floor of space, they lay –
an infinitely precious find –
a lifetime spent in search of this
that lay within me all along!
It took my dogged, shaking head
to see what would come out.
