The End/The Beginning
A little existential sonnet for your reading pleasure (or not, if you don’t like this sort of heavy thing) ;)

Beneath the edge of foul intent for blood,
Where on horizons shelf, thy ends it seeks
And thoughts of endings sigh as darkness floods:
Thy mind, thy will, thy love lays waste to wind
Each blade of grass, as long as time, expands,
(a heart can only reach until it’s pinned)
Where sinew finds a hardened lamb, and hands…
The double helix tower seeks to find
The men of Gods, as they begin to comb
Through reenacted strands (relight the mind)
To bring us back to when the stars were home;
Return creation to its first array,
Remember where you’re from, and light the way…

A profoundly sad poem. Brilliant metaphors as usual: It sees me when I put on your glasses.
Could you see me looking through your eyes today?” Wow! Add the next stanza too,the entire GD poem. I hope you find the light, find stars in your home! That would be brilliant! A word that I am using far too often: time to consult the thesaurus.
Kristin Reynolds replied
Shit! I left your poor ass hanging back in the day, more often then not, eh? shit. sorry, homes…guess that was before I knew what the F I was doing here.
before the dog began to bark in my ear, saying “Jump! Jump! Jump!”

We were not designed to live as we do now, it is as something had not occurred to the creator…
Kristin Reynolds replied
...perhaps, but for me, it is all about learning to live now that is key; riding each damnable wave with a stoic smile. :)
