A photo manipulation I did of a photograph I took of a doll that I made from string, fabric, wire and needles… If the title doesn’t give it away to you, this is basically about adapting to such a harsh world, so used to being mistreated and tolerating everything negative that goes on until you reach a point where your in ignorant bliss.

OMG!!! Just discovered this…very personal meaning for me. I receive a couple dozen or more injections from the base of my skull to the middle of my spine…and points in between…once a week. You can see how this might speak to me!lol Straight to favs!

Cervical cord injury…failed cervical cord surgery..X’s2. Malpositioned and dislodged metal plate along cervical spine…screws pushing out backwards…metal plate pushing forward into trachea and esophagus. I receive the injections for pain, they are a combination of epinephrine and an anesthetic…it freezes muscle and nerve. Sometimes I have to get them in my head, face and eye/sinus areas for migraines…now those ones hurt!!
I’ve been looking for images that represent my physical situation and this is perfect for Friday’s treatments!! Thanks hatefueled.
