40cm x 45cm acrylics and collage on canvas.
As yet another art course project for tafe, our imaginative lecturer wanted us to take 2 masterpieces by high profile artists and imagine, metaphorically if they’re were to be married and to have a child, paint what that child would look like! We could either make them not work together purposely to make a statement or blend them into a new image. This is man ray’s woman with cello ‘f’ holes and one of Kurt Shwitters’ collages (mostly painted but also collaged). At first i didn’t like this too much but after I got stuck into it I fell in love and this has been my favorite painting of mine ever since.
acrylic, collage, female, figure, form, holes, human, instument, kurt, man, manray, media, music, musical, ray, realism, realist, shape, shwitters, traditional, violin

oh wow oh wow. I absolutely love this. I have always said that the cello is so like a woman’s body…nice work.
this is awesome, like this one best…
Thats ok :) i`m actually starting to find your talent intimidating……so damn good at everything!!!
i live near swan tafe and this is stunning btw
thanks lostboy! :D he he. I have so much to upload, Im trying to decided whats worth putting up compared to the rest of my work, so you can feel better that I actually have alot more crappy work than good. ;)
I think this works really well, the F symbols on her back unite the two pieces and the way you have composed the image makes your eye travel around the canvas. Well done A+.
To bad I’m not assessing you!
ha ha! and too bad we only get complete or incomplete! thankyou!
Awesome!

why are you hatefueled?
ive explained that as best and amibuously as i can in public on my profile.
