Profile
I am an anthropology grad living just outside Winnipeg, Manitoba. I have been an amateur artist of sorts all my life but only started taking it seriously 4 or 5 years ago. I plan to begin a digital multimedia program at Red River College in fall of 2008. I supervise at a Starbucks but I’d like to think that’s just temporary.
The largest influence on my work is Roger Dean, the well known album cover artists for 70’s prog rock bands like Yes and King Crimson. I also draw a large portion of my inspiration from science fiction films, literature, and games.
In my spare time I like to listen to music, check out local artists at smaller venues, spend a night at the pub, and more recently I’ve started to randomly drive for hours into rural Manitoba in search of ghost towns.
