    My wife’s aunt has a “thing” for elephants. You should see all of the elephants in her house! This was done for her. I really like drawing al of the wrinkles.

    ah, i love drawing elephants. I have drawn so many in the past, never actually drawn one properly… this has inspired me to actually get my arse into gear and do it.

    They have such beautiful details dont they?

  • I love their deep wrinkles. I don’t have a copy of my favorite one. I did one once on a piece of hardboard that I had painted with white gesso and allowed it to dry cracked and wrinkled. I incorporated the natural cracks into the elephant’s skin. It was great!
