United StatesThe Libran moon coerces cooperation in relationships and partnerships. Balance is a constant theme for this phase of the moon cycle. The upcoming full moon is a time to remember relationships both personal and professional. And while you are doing that embrace the luscious link between the Sun and Jupiter – oh la lah! This aspect is the perfect day to bask in the glory of our own dreams and fantasies – a potent day for writers and creative souls – expression will be fathomless.
The St. Pepper’s song has been going around in my head since I woke up this morning. While making the morning brew I thought about the concert over the weekend with Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr appearing together. What a hoot? You can almost guarantee that John Lennon and George Harrison would’ve been there – loving it and lapping up the energy, ambience and nostalgia. The collaboration would have ripped through the curtain between both worlds. I can’t blame them really. The music is intoxicating and is forever burned in our psyche; another affirmation of Paul McCartney’s demonstration of his ageless musical ability and agility.
I must admit that in my youth I was totally devoted to James Paul McCartney. His cutsie boyish looks were appealing entwined with his Gemini intricacies – thoroughly intoxicating for a teenage girl. My youth was Paul. I was delighted when he met and married his soul mate, Linda and they shared many happy years together, (not long enough sadly though.) I felt so happy for him on many levels. It was a time for the fractured young Paul to get it together and rediscover himself.
My attention never swayed too far from the Beatles as John and his journey came into my focus and it seemed that we grew up together. As John took a step forward – or stepped out of view I too leap-frogged along not far behind. At times we were linked on a similar path – so much so I could feel his breath imbue the daily nuance of my existence. I know that sound really profound – and so it was.
Sure I brought Band of the Run records but my consciousness was always searching for the “John influence”. I was proud that he remained true to himself and his personal mission. Art, creativity and authenticity was his legacy to the world and he made it much better place just by being in it! I’m not saying he colored our world with sunshine each day before we reached for a crayon in our box. We all walked a narrow line between creativity and social consciousness-raising. What I liked most was that he made us think – encouraged us to step away from the herd and take a long look at what was really important for a generation of future leaders.
Now, individually, collectively, or even as a dynamic duo (Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr) we continue to revel in the glory of their words and music. Over decades and beyond their influence continues to inspire our hearts, minds and souls to a place of wondrous woven magic and beyond.

Scoobious-pip: “the beetles are just a band.” I guess not though, huh.

We all have our muses and creative influences – I guess the Beatles are not one of yours – so be it :)
