They seem to hang on, more felt than see, but they are there. There is this-and-that, and oh yea, there is that other stuff, or maybe some secreted things. All those things seem to attach themselves as parasites to life, dragging one down to the lowest levels, but wait, there is a better way.
Pesky as they may seem, we all have the ability to remove them and come clean to a new life, that as righteous before our Lord.
It sounds difficult to remove all those things of our old ways, but Christ took the burden upon Himself to open the door of life for all that would, will, and will to come accept His sacrifice and believe in Him.
Isaiah 43:18-19 (ESV) Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
We find that removal of all those things that seem to cling to us comes as much from remembrance as doing, so cease doing and remember not and follow His ways to a better life.
