I am currently employed as a clinical nurse at a local hospital. It is my work, but is also vocational for me. In the last three years i have rediscovered photography for myself. I always remember when we (my dad, with me watching on as a little tacker) used to process and print photographs at home. When we migrated to Australia in 1982, the darkroom equipment stayed in Europe; and so did photography in general.
Three years ago i started off with film and “wasted” a lot, but learned heaps. A year ago i switched to digital and have kept on learning. This is the thing i enjoy most. Every picture opportunity is an opportunity to learn – about photography, people, nature, spiritual etc.
With my back giving me a lot of grieve, i am looking also to diversify income through photography. I love nursing, but my body can’t cope with the demands on a full time basis anymore. Hopefully RedBubble is an opportunity to share both the photographic artform as well as generate some income.
