Mr. Hoa Hakananai’a goes on holiday.
I saw Hoa Hakananai’a (which means stolen or hidden friend) at the British Museum. I thought he would fit in perfectly at Stonehenge. A bit of copying, pasting, cloning, dodging and burning, and voila, he’s a tourist!

This is awesome Linda. I especially like the big stone with the face on it. Is that Mr. Hoa Hakananai??? Excellent shot. I would love to see this in person. An instant fav!!
Thanks Ginny!! The figure is called Hoa Hakananai which means “stolen or hidden friend.” It’s actually a stone figure from Easter Island that currently resides in the British Museum. I thought he would fit in perfectly at Stonehenge!
Thanks for adding it to your favorites!!
LOL Did you put him in the picture? :))
Yes! I took a photo of him at the British Museum and placed him in a photo I took of Stonehenge. Loads and loads of PhotoShop work later… Viola… “Easter Vacation!”
