Just perfect!!! I like this kinda photography!
Thanks for the wonderful comment I have only just started trying to do these and they have been recieved well. keep your eyes peeled there is another similar one on the way – These garage doors I found are perfect for this work – although I did get odd looks from the locals getting up close and personal with hinges, locks and peeling paint :)
I can imagine that!
I.m kind of used to it when I take texture shots of tarmac roads and pavements that must look very odd indeed :)
LOL..have to laugh about the odd looks..get those all the time..but this is really cool..the detail is amazing and I just love that old lock, again the series is great!!
Kim – really appreciate your support on this work as you have been a great inspiration as I said before… really piqued my interest in getting the camera out. I met another avid photographer on Sunday morning and she likes taking pictures of milestones and boot scraps :) you could see her excitement when I didn’t just laugh or look at her oddly – someone who understands she said at last :)
Lorilee – Hi thanks for the great comment glad you like it – you can blame Kim for all these peeling paint pics :)
Kimba – Wow thanks for a lovely comment always nice to hear people like your work.
Denis many thanks for that glad you like it.
Love the colours and textures, a great rusty old lock too – wonderful image :)
Thanks Trish glad you like it you can blame Kim for getting me into this type of picture.
Thanks for the feature Kimba
Fantastic capture! It’d be interesting to know where this photo was taken. Love the colours and framing!
It was taken at a friends garage in the town where I live in Cambridgeshire. Thanks for the comments.
