This is the entrance to the Holocaust Memorial as seen at Greenwood Cemetery, Atlanta, Georgia. A very emotional place, indeed. The reason why this monument exists is because people need to be reminded of what happened during the Holocaust so that it never ever happens again. I think we’re a little late, though, with all the recent killing – massacres – going on in the world. Just horrible.

  • Thanks so much, Roy. I have to tell you, it was pretty emotional going to this memorial. Being born Jewish, I was overwhelmed with the monument, the presentation (and also the disembodies voices of children screaming – yeah, that kinda freaked me out a little).
