Great looking card. Love the colors.
I wanted to make one with a real menorah, not a cartoon of one. I found this photo at menorah.com (I think) so I grabbed this and then used the stock and effects from Picnik (the star, the dreidels, the vignette). Thanks honey!! I love Hanukkah!! 8 days of presents!!! YAY!!!

עבודה יפה, סקוט!
HA HA HA!!! That Translator is pretty cool aint it?(well done, Scott)
I LOVE Google Translator. Whenever I can, I will translate my comments!!
me too, use it all the time!
A really terrific composition!!!! Bill
Thanks Bill – I hope I git the Hebrew right. LOL
Thank you Chris!
Thanks Judy! I like this one a lot more than the previous one since this one is an actual photo of a menorah (not clip art).
Beautiful work Scott!!! My family celebrates both Hanukkah & Christmas….but I am Jewish too:)
I celebrate all holidays that involve presents and food. LOL
Happy Hanukkah my friend, a wonderful illustration to celebrate the “Celebration of Lights” season!!! I wish I did speak Hebrew, it’s an amazing language.
Thank you so much, my dear Viv. I love this time of year, and I love the history and tradition associated with my ancestry. The whole story of Hanukkah is so inspiring, not in so much as it is TRUE (I find it hard to believe that one drop of oil lasted for 8 days….yeah, right!), but it is a lesson in faith and believing that is the really special part of Hanukkah. I only speak a few Hebrew words (shalom being one of them – that means Hello. lol), but I read a whole portion of the torah when I was Bar Mitzvah’d waaaaaay back in 1977. (Sheesh, I’m old. )
I love the Hebrew words of the Bible (O.T.) because when they are broken down it’s amazing just what God is saying, no one really realizes just how exact His word is put together. And I know Shalom also means peace!!! So Shalom, “hello and peace!”
I think Shalom also means “I’ll have a burger and fries!” LOL – its like Aloha, it means so many things!! The Jewish religion has so much rich history (and dont forget about our food! OY!! Delish!!)
This is Beautiful Scott! absolutely gorgeous card! ♥
Thank you, Carla!!! I really like this one too. If I could afford the RB prices, I would buy at least 10 of these to send to my friends and family. (But I’m po’ – I cant afford it. LOL)
