Trick or Treat by Scott Mitchell
This little guy was hanging from a web right in front of my door when I got home yesterday, so I picked him up gently and set him on the banister. And there he sat. Didnt move. So I ran and got my camera and shot about 15 photos. This was the one I chose to use (he was about 2cm long – TINY little guy!) I dont kill insects, especially spiders. I usually remove them from my home and place them outside. (unless its a roach, then he’s dead meat).
Number 4 in my Halloween Card series (or #5 – I cant remember). This photo reminds me of one of my favorite movies “Night of the Demons” and the amazing song “Stigmata Martyr” by the band “Bauhaus.”

LOL – tel her not to look!!! (some of the bug groups on RB have great art, but the gross out factor keeps me from browsing for too long – I love horror – I DONT love bugs!).

My wife would absolutely love this one… a Halloween buff too. She would love to go back to the big convention in St. Louis this coming year (for haunted attractions and all that you can put into them) , and I think I’ll send her. Great work.
Thanks Russell. I used to do the haunted house thing too, but after 3 years of the screaming customers, sore feet, and getting hassled by patrons, I decided I was WAY too old for that, and quit.
